I'm alive!

I promise, I am! I've been crazy busy and haven't been able to take pics of anything. I've finished up my mother's and sister's gifts (headwarmers, a scarf and a neckwarmer) and I've also been working on the second ami doll.

Christmas baking is in full swing too. Tonight was caramel brownies, sugar cookies, and walnut tassies. All of that done after a full day of work. I'm exahusted!

I'll get pictures up sometime tomorrow. Hope everyone is gearing up and getting their projects done!

Hi Christina,

Thanks for the comment on my blog! I'm working on my MPA (master of public administration) through an online program with the University of Texas at Arlington - it's part of the state university system in Texas. I have a B.A. in Urban Studies (urban planning concentration) from Cleveland State University. It took me exactly 10 years (1993-2003) to get my bachelor's, between working, having my kids, health problems for me and my husband and kids, etc. It was a joyful day when I finally got to walk across the stage and receive my diploma. I still get teary-eyed thinking about it, LOL! I've been working towards the master's for nearly 3 years now, so I need to get going on finishing it. It seems like everything I get going, something throws me off track (my dad passing away in 2005, breaking my wrist this past February, a miscarriage this past August, etc). I may have the degree done by this winter or next spring though, assuming nothing else goes wrong!

Yum, cookies and brownies! : )Brownies and chocolate chip cookies are my favorite desserts!

Yes, a post! You know those times where you're surfing the internet and you don't really want to do much but still want to be on the internet? Well, I've been linking to your purple K much more than I want to admit.
Anyway, can't wait to see the FO pictures!
Mmm... brownies. What are walnut tassies? I'd probably like them since nuts are yummy in baked foods.
