My dad was at work yesterday when he started experiencing tightness in his chest. He was sent to ER by his job, with 2 other officers to watch over him. Thankfully, it was not a heart attack, but they kept him overnight for testing. We just got word that he has a blocked artery and will be admitting him.
My mom is worried, especially since the hospital is about 45 minutes away, which means she can't just run over to be with him at a moment's notice. Between this and waiting for her biopsy results, I'm worried about her stressing.
I wish there was more I could do. I hate feeling helpless.

I was offline (no Internet access - long story) for a week, and I see I missed a lot on your blog! I'm so sorry to hear about your dad and mom. I hope all will be well. You have my prayers.
Don't you stress too because then that would make it all worse. Hang in there, and hopefully everything will work out for the best. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Yup--know exactly what you're going thru. My Old Man had a stroke at work--I found out when I checked my email at work (yes, my mother emailed us all the news). Take it from me, it sucks, but it will be better!!!!! Hugs!
Sorry to hear the misfortune you and your family are having. Your dad is going to the right place to get the help he needs.
Thinking of you. Hope everything is ok x
