Rock the Vote!

Just a friendly, neighborly reminder to vote tomorrow (if you haven't already voted early). Voting is a freedom that we often take for granted.

I haven't really discussed politics on the blog, but since the election is tomorrow, might as well share who I'm voting for.

Oh yeah, I'm the rare Republican living in New York City.

Ha ha! As a rare Dem who lived in Alaska, I feel your pain! (not like AKs electoral votes ever really counted in most elections anyway...)

Gasp! You might be the only Republican in NYC, LOL! One of the guys at work said, jokingly (about the Democrat voter who was mad because her Republican husband got his absentee ballot before hers), that the employee should have told the woman that there's only 5 Republicans in Cuyahoga County, and 2 of them work at the board, so we sent out their ballots first, ha, ha!

Since you liked my blog post, here's another hilarious and true phone call one of my coworkers got today: this guy called and said after he filled out his paper ballot and ran it through the optical scanner (Ohio is doing optical scan paper ballots this year), the machine didn't tell him thank you! He said the machine should have said thank you on the screen, and that it must be defective, and we should investigate it, ha, ha (no, the machine isn't set up to say thank you)! I said, what, are we going to investigate the machine for being rude, ha, ha!

One guy told me people even get offended if the polling places run out of "I voted today" stickers. And these are adults??!!

:) I personally dig Sarah Palin. Why can't a woman with 5 kids, who was a mayor be serously considered for VP or for that matter the big P? Having 5 kids should qualify you!!!
That means your heart is always big enuff!
