My cable company blows!

We're having a bad rain storm here, so my internet and phone keep going out. I'm getting about 5 minutes at a time if I'm lucky. Time Warner can go kiss me where the sun don't shine. For the prices they charge, you'd think some measly rain wouldn't be an issue.

Anyhoo, I got my swap and PIF from Lesa...awesome stuff, let me tell you. Since I can't be on for very long, its impossible to post pics right now. Hopefully I can update in the morning. Just wanted to let you know I didn't forget about you Lesa.

Ooof! Don't tell me this! What I love about this area though is you're not limited to one company!

Sorry, I left something out of my last post, so deleted it...

Anyway, I hear you! We had a mammoth snow storm yesterday here in Cleveland. I normally leave work around 5:30 ish, and get home around 6:15. Yesterday I got to leave at 2:45. and STILL didn't get home until nearly 6, because of our f------ up bus service here. Grrhh! We have so much snow now that my husband can't even get out of the driveway to go to the store.

Are you allowed to have satellite service in your apartment complex? My husband and I lived in a high-rise apartment complex for 5 years, and the last year or so we lived there, we were able to get a satellite (instead of the crappy cable service we had that had a monopoly on the building for a long time) - we put the satellite on our balcony. In my opinion, the satellite companies are cheaper, and have more channels for the $. It stinks when you don't have any choice about what you can get.

Kaye, in my neighborhood, we can only get Time Warner or Verizon. But Verizon will only do the phone, not cable or internet. So the cheapest route which is still armed robbery, is Time Warner. Out internet and phone go out ALOT! Hope yours is better!

Our old neighborhood had Cablevision which we LOVED. Would you know it, we missed being eligible for it here by one stinkin block, ha!

Laura, we can get satellite in the area but my landlady isn't too keen on installing it. We've decided not to bother pushing the issue since we want to move out of this apartment in Sept. We just moved here last Sept. but this place is a disaster!
