They turned out great!!! You're a natural!
Those look great :) I have suggestion for your binding off woes: the crochet bind off! Pull out your trusty hook and go at it (find out how here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efRaicXpT_8) You'll never bind off knit-style again!!! It gets a little tricky if you have to bind off in a pattern, not quite figured that out yet. Welcome to the knitting club, and get ready to be blown away by all the fun patterns! I love this pattern for learning yarn overs and decreases: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/amoberly/vineyard - I'd have to send you the pattern instructions, the original is in french and I have the translation. Let me know if you want it!
They look wonderful! Look at doing another pair for Piper this way, you'll get the pattern down pat and working closer to perfect! It's a learning experience! You go girl!
They look great, Christina! Nice and warm.
Wow, I'm super impressed! They turned out lovely. I wish I could knit. It is on my goal list for 2009. Maybe I'll finally be able to learn how to knit.
