Crocheting is one way I keep sane. I needed so much sanity this weekend that I finished the CRW. Really, it should have taken another 2 weekends, but I was working at it furiously.
This is what it looked like on Friday night.
Here it is completed (even the ends are woven in). It measures 85"...over 7 feet!
I'm glad to have it finished in July, since it wasn't done by July.
Today is Pi's birthday. Can't believe she's eight!

Christina, that is a work of art! Nice job!
And a big Happy Birthday to Pi, too!
I know I've seen your Cathedral WIP pics before, but I am blown away by the FO! Gorgeous work and I really think the blue babysoft was a good choice. The colors work very well. Congrat on finishing (and happy birthday to your daughter!)
Beautiful!!!
Happy Birthday Pi!
GORGEOUS! I am amazed at your ability to stick with it too! Honestly, that has to be one of the most beautiful crocheted items I have ever seen. You should enter that in a state fair or something, it needs a blue ribbon!
It's finished!! So beautiful! You must be beyond proud of it and relieved to have completed it.
Happy 8th birthday Pi! :-)

Love the Cathedral Rose Window, Christina it came out so lovely and nice. WOW you did a great job and the colors you pick totally give it a pop look to it. Great job.:)
Oh wow, that is just stunning! A real masterpiece! I'm amazed at your patience and dedication to such a huge project - I have no patience for afghans!
Oh, I didn't know it's Pi's birthday - happy birthday!
That is huge and wonderful! Congrats!
The Cathedral Window is gorgeous. Nice work.
Happy belated birthday to Piper and congratulations to you for making through 8 years of mommyhood. :)
That afghan looks amazing. I'd say you should frame it, except I bet that it weighs a ton and you'd never end up hanging it. XD
