Light at the end of the tunnel!

True to my word, I've been working on the CRW pretty regularly. I started the popcorn row yesterday morning but it got too hot around 10am to continue. I didn't sleep well last night, so I was up by 6:30 this morning and was able to finish the popcorn row. Good thing too because its really heating up outside.

This is what it looked like last time:

This is what it looks like now! Sorry the pics are dark. Its difficult to get good lighting especially in the morning. The sun doesn't shine into the apartment until later in the day.

It measure 62" across. To get a picture of it, I need to stand on top of my bed and hold the camera high. Otherwise, it'd never all fit in the shot. I've also made 20 of the last 32 heptagons. I'm so close to being done I can almost taste it! I'm pretty certain I can finish by July.

Wow, great job so far! That's going to be one beautiful afghan when it's done!

Christina, it's been fascinating to watch that afghan grow. I wonder if all your progress photos could be put together into an animated video by someone with the know-how? That'd be so cool to watch!

Almost there!! I'm living vicariously through you because I know I'd never get something that complicated finished before the end of my days. :-)I procrastinate too much!

I'm still amazed at how beautiful it is.

Oof! I can't believe you were working on this in this heat! I've been staring at my projects as I lie in a puddle only wishing it was cool enough to touch them.

What Jen said--you should at least do a mosaic with your progress pics!

Keep it going! Those last rounds on a 60+ inch blanket must take forever. I am so impressed that you've been working so much on the cathedral!
