What happens when...

1. Groceries just arrived and I am stocked with everything.
2. I'm PMSing
3. I have a giant, empty tin begging to be filled.
4. I am trying to avoid a crochet WIP that really needs to be finished.
5. Its the first cold and snowy day of the season.

Answer:

Reindeer cookies...

Chocolate covered pretzels...

Lemon cookies....

Chocolate chip cookies....
Fudge...
Ice box cookies...

A full (heavy!) tin full of cookies and a full, happy me.

This was all within a 24 hour timeframe! Hubby seems to prefer when I release my PMS crankiness with baking, rather than moodiness, haha! All this baking has made me mighty popular in my house tonight.
Recipes here:
Reindeer cookies - these are just Nutter Butters with M&M faces and chocolate covered pretzel antlers. I used frosting as glue.
Lemon cookies HERE
Chocolate Chip cookies HERE
Fudge HERE
Ice box cookies - a recipe from a co-worker:
1 cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of unsalted butter (2 sticks)
2 eggs
3 & 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream the white sugar, brown sugar, butter, and eggs together. Set aside. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together.
Add to the ingredients in the first bowl.
Add 1/4 1b. of walnuts.
Shape into logs using wax paper and refrigerate for about an hour.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
Enjoy!
