Happy Birthday Inky Binky!

Just want to say a quick Happy Birthday to my little sister who is 20 today! My entire family went out to dinner to a Japanese Habashi steakhouse tonight. The food was good and the entertainment was alot of fun. I know my sis got some pics...I'll see if I can grab them from her soon. My favorite part was the fried ice cream...yum! Can you hear my arteries clogging?

Not much else going on. Still working on my swap crochet, but its been slow. Work is so busy that I'm exhausted by the time I get home and haven't picked up my hook to work on anything else. Even subway crocheting has been pretty scarce the last few days. I mostly close my eyes to rest or do some light reading.

Pi will be spending this upcoming weekend at her dad's house, so I'm hoping to get some much needed rest and recharge.

Happy birthday to your sis!

Which place did you go to? Our favorite is Arirang in Bay Ridge.

Happy Birthday to your little sister! I love those Japanese steakhouses. Used to live by one as a teenager. I've never had fried ice cream before, though. It sounds delicious - just never had the chance. Hope work calms down so you have some more crochet time!

Happy birthday to your sister!

I've never gotten into Asian food, although my husband loves it.

Fried ice cream? Can't hurt you if you only eat it once in while. :) There's a restaurant here in Cleveland (the Town Fryer) that sells stuff like fried Twinkies. Now somehow that doesn't sound too appetizing, LOL! But they have fried macaroni & cheese - now, I'd have to stay away from that, because it just sounds TOO good!

Happy birthday to your sister! I love Asian food! Never had fried ice cream before. Here in Scotland they seem to deep fry everything at the fish and chip shops. Fried pizza, mars bars, burgers, and whatever else they can cover in a batter. I haven't tried any of them yet though, and don't plan to! lol
