My new old car.

Sorry I've been MIA lately. The last week has been C-R-A-Z-Y and crafting (not to mention sleeping!) has been practically non-existent.

I just dropped by to say I bought a car! Its old (1996) and probably bigger than what we need. But the price was right, the miles weren't too high and we paid cash for it to avoid a monthly loan. We got it in PA and it made it home with no problems. We're hoping it lasts at least a year (maybe more if we're lucky).

This upcoming week is going to be just as crazy with a bachelorette party, wedding, 2 performances of Piper's play, and 2 birthdays. So don't be surprised if its nearly another week before I surface again.

Good luck with the car! We recently made a very similar puchase.

Congrats on the car! And don't worry about not blogging much... I've been in a total slump myself :)

Wow, that looks pretty good for a 14 year old vehicle! Congratulations!

My husband and I have a minivan, and we love it. We only have the two kids, but it's great for when we take my mom to the store, or if we have the kids' cousins or friends with us.

I hate having a loan payment (although our van will finally be paid off in June), and insurance, and maintnance expenses, but here in the Cleveland area, where our public transportation stinks (and just got worse this month when the transit authority cut a ton of bus routes), and everything is so spread out, that it's pretty much necessary to have some kind of car.

Wow, you do have a busy week ahead! Look forward to hearing about it. Have a great week. I'm trying to plan my week since my kids start their Spring Break on Monday. In a way I'm dreading it but it would be a nice break to not have to fuss at them every morning to get them out the door for school. I guess instead I'll be fussing at them for other things! LOL

Lucky! It looks like a great car with lots of room. I used to be a mini-van hater until I actually drove one, now I like them.
