You can pick any stitch or stitch pattern you want to get better at and then go for it. Then gauge isn't important and you can relax and get good!Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09576476009927740931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-112160252924952787.post-69756178792691832008-12-28T20:32:00.000-05:002008-12-28T20:32:00.000-05:00It came out great! Personally, I did a lot of dishcloths at first (cotton yarn, 20 stitches - 40 rows) It doesn't matter how they look, they all clean the same, and you can practice all kinds of stitches!Deni J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16481279691766859806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-112160252924952787.post-77934222605145020002008-12-28T14:59:00.000-05:002008-12-28T14:59:00.000-05:00Wow, very good! I'm still in the beginning states of knitting too so I know how frustrating it is. I've done the same things as you. :)Krystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16334046086853166562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-112160252924952787.post-54486134908044125272008-12-28T13:48:00.000-05:002008-12-28T13:48:00.000-05:00Wow, I am quite impressed!!!! I was scared of decreasing/increasing, but it's really not so bad once you actually do it.

Cables are WAY cool to do, and so easy (but they look so complicated). I'm a little nuts, but I think whatever you work on should be something you would like to keep for yourself! That's always worked for me when I'm learning something new. That's why I have so many knit/crochet *things*. I make the first one for myself, figure the pattern out, and then make lots for other folks! By the time I'm done with number 3 or 4, I've got the pattern down and have figured out all the hangups. I hope! Love the handwarmers. I've been eyeing a pair for myself.Snaphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16648866385164116020noreply@blogger.com
